Juliet Capulet once said, What's in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.

Growing up, I detested my name, Josephine. Main reason was, it was quite an uncommon name where I lived. Teachers, peers all had a problem pronouncing it right. I was teased because my name rhymed with certain things, which I am not disclosing! Oh and also it reminded a lot of people of "Josie and the Pussycats". Eew.

I love my name now, it sounds reagal and classy, the complete opposite of who I am, which makes me love it even more. It is what I do best after all, being unexpected.

Josephine is of French origins and bring upons of the meaning, "God Multiplies" or "God Will Add". I am spiritual so this to me doesn't mean much at all- unless God wants to multiply the happiness or the moolah in my bank, then HALLELUJAH! Praise the Lord!!!! I think God knows I am not exactly sincere so he multiplies crap in my life.

So, my first post and being bored and all that bull, I decided to use the power that be, which is GOOGLE and see what I can find about my name :

A beautiful actress/singer/entertainer from America that made it big in France in the 1930's. Yours truly is nothing like this wonderful lady but wished I had a bit of her talent!

She was the love of Napoleon's life, as his last words on the Island of St. Helena was " France, the Army, the Head of the Army,Josephine", even though they were divorced. As much as I wished to find a love so grand, Josephine was a well known adultress and cheated on Napoleon. Pity.
