Fourth session and the start of the week. I took a cab to 3k today and it was like RM10 from my place. I didn't feel a pinch, because RM 10 is normally either spent on FOOD or top up for my phone, so it's money worth and need spending to get healthy. I wanted to take a bus but it's too early and bus services only start at 6am :( Oh and they were saying how OBCSJ is gonna have a second time slot next month at 7am-8am. I am not really keen because I like working out in the dark ( people can't see my fats wobble :D) and also it's not as hot.
I don't drive ( yes,I don't have a license and no, don't ask why) so I am having transportation problems :(
Anyways, let's get back on topic. Today we used equipments! :) We had to carry this pole thing that looked like a bamboo to me but turned out to be a substitute for a rifle, and do squats. IT WAS FREAKING HARD D:
We started off with some cardio, running as usual but thsi time, we had to lay on the ground on our stomachs, get up, run to the other side of the field lay back down on our stomachs, get back up and repeat. We switch from laying on our stomachs, to getting on our knees, to being on our backs and then to being on our backs and getting up without using our hands. It was intense, as usual.
We were spilt into groups of two, but in my group there were three of us, Mark, Sheena and myself. We had 18 people, but one of our team mates had an injury, so he can't do as much. So his group had 3 people and so did mine. ( I think Sarge placed me in the group coz I am weakling, so my team mates can help me a little :P)
We all stood in a circle and had to perform four kind of exercise. We started off without the equipments. We had to do sit ups, push ups, jumping jacks and grunts. We started with grunts, while the next group did push ups and so on. We switch after 60 seconds and the next would be 40 then 20.
I was so extremely "lucky", that we got to do grunts first! 60 seconds of it. And we weren't allowed to stop, everytime we stopped, Sarge will add 20 seconds!!!!
The ones with the equipment were way more tough. That pole thing was HEAVY.And we had to do 4 different exercise, but the same routine like above. First was the squats where you lift the "rifle" up in the air everytime you push up, the other were also squats but the "rifle" had to held in front of you while you squat ( That was freaking tiring).
We also had to do like star sit ups, where we lay on the ground on our backs, sit up using on our chest, and not using our hands.
The last was the worst, "mountain climbing". Basically we had to be in the push up position and kick our legs in and out alternately. It sounds easy but it's FLIPPING hard D: I hate it!!!! It got on my nerves so much, when Shamil (one of our instructors) was trying to tell us how to do it, and saying how easy etc, I flipped and yelled " That's because you're a professional" I felt bad after :(:(
SHAMIL, if you see this, I AM SORRRRY :(
And we had a little competition after that. Alpha vs Bravo. I was in Alpha, and we had to do red indian run or something lol. We all had to lie on the floor, our knees can't touch the ground so we had to support with our arms and toes. We had to lie in a line, and the instructor would tap your back and you had to get up, run to the front and lay back down again. THAT WAS HARD D:
Losing team had to do 20 grunts. I thought we were doomed, because there were a few great runners in Bravo. I didn't resign to fate, I ran for dear life, we the Alpha team, pushed hard and ran.
and
WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At first, I didn't know, I assumed we lost, so I just got down and started doing my grunts, when I reached my fifth grunt, I saw all my team mates just standing, only THEN did I realized we won LOL. It felt great to win :) and I had loads of fun today hehe :)
Shamil said Monday's would be easier and Friday's would be the toughest. But as the week progress, each week would get harder and harder D:
I took the bus home, and it was hillarious. I was covered in mud, I was wearing pink pants, so the mud was very obvious all over it. My hands and face was also had some dirt on it, but I didn't bring a towel, so meh.
When I got on the bus, every single eyes were on me. As I walked, people were just looking at me from head to toe. Thank God, I was holding a bottle, inhaler and my wallet or people might think I was robbed, kidnapped, raped or whatever. Or they might think I had some rough, intense sex in public.....
Anyways, it was fun today and right now I feel beat. I just wrote 4 new posts :/ Oh and my next entries won't be so detailed about OBCSJ. Just how badly I suffered, etc :P
It's hard but it works. HOOOYAH.
